We are a charitable health clinic specializing in improving the quality of life through positive psychology relationship counseling and behavior modification such as stress management, weight loss, smoking cessation, pain reduction, insomnia and substance abuse.

FREND has awarded Service Grants to more than 200 organizations nationally, conducting free seminar/clinics for their employees and virtually 100% of over 150,000 attendees approved.

It is a unique proprietary program designed to improve lives quickly with long lasting results. It uses the latest effective methods geared toward involving all five senses to enhance the whole person and can be tailored to the individual needs of any group or individual.

Who is Frank "Doc" Ricci? After battling Cancer contracted from second-hand smoke. In 1994, Dr. Frank Ricci and his Wife Gwendolyn founded a charitable health clinic, The FREND Group Clinic and Institute for Self-Improvement. FREND's proprietary program integrates treatment for the mind, body and spirit. Today, Dr. Ricci is a highly regarded Inspirational Speaker, Behavioral Therapist and Life Management Coach. Frank was raised in Rhode Island in a hard working Italian immigrant family. He joined the United States Air Force at nineteen and attended Engineering School outside Washington, DC where he received a degree in Computational Geodetics and Secret Clearance. He says, one of the highlights of his military career was attending the inauguration of fellow New Englander, President John F. Kennedy whose wife was also from Rhode Island. After six years of military service during the Vietnam War, Frank received an honorable discharge. Frank continued his education and received a degree in Computer Programming and worked in defense as a Scientific Programmer Analyst and received a PhD in Metaphysical Theology and a certification as a Clinical Hypnotherapist.
